We all know Microsoft plans to full-fledge the idea of true HD later this year by giving the XBox 360 a companion...an external HD-DVD player...oh my! The question here is whether or not it's worth the money when you consider that the core packaged PS3 costs less and comes with a Blu-ray player. Microsoft needs to consider the facts and the facts are what many people buy the 360 for...games.
Think about it how sweet would it be to have a full HD-enabled version of PGR 3 or what have you? The alotted disk space will allow for extra content of some kind. Maybe behind-the-scenes footage of 'PGR 3 in the making' or something of that nature. Hell, with the amount of disk space HD-DVDs have the potential for, Bizarre could include full versions of Geometry Wars 1 and 2, and with that said they could even go for a combo kind of thing by including the previous two PGR games.
As far as this movie business goes, if I wanted to see a movie in hi-def I would just buy an HDTV and record movies in HD and come out cheaper. The real objective here is getting more out of what you pay for and MS' key is the HD-DVD player whether they wish to acknowledge it or not.
