In what was most likely the most anticipated game of the year, Gears of War has finally arrived and has taken it amongst the gamer community to be the 360's premiere title of the year, and with good reason I assure you. Gears of War presents you with a rather gripping storyline and the utter most perfect environment to let loose in, there are some interesting features most of which require accuracy and skill, which turns out to be a good thing in the long run. Without a doubt Gears of War delivers and you'll be amazed at what you can pull off.
You begin the game as ex-militant Marcus Fenix, one who's been sentenced to forty years in Jacinto Maximum Security Penitentiary for defying orders to save his father at East Barricade Academy during the Locust invasion. After E-Day however, the Locust have invaded and overrun the facility and you're freed to fight the only battle you know how to. You're back in the shoes of slaying some Locust, but it won't be as easy as it sounds.
The game itself is put together quite well, there's little time for you to actually goof, so you'd better plan ahead if you hope to live long enough to see General RAAM and put an end to the everlasting Emergence Day.
Look out for a full review soon.
