Fallout 3...
It's been a long-time coming and if Bethesda fscks it up, I will rape Elder Scrolls 4.
Into the ground.
Badly.
Without remorse.
Now you know.

I'm waiting on Prey...
It was suppose to be released in the 90's...the fvcking 90's.
Well, now it's supposed to release on the Xbox 360 and PC, again. Will it happen?
It fvcking better....

I believe they did, which is a terrible recurrance.
But, there is a bright side to this whole thing...the longer it's delayed...the better it gets.

People often bitch about the PC only have four effective genres, which is by no means true...you have FPS, RTS, RPG, racing, I've seen a fighting game or two, maybe three...you've got action and adventure....
I think my point has been proven...

Well, the whole thing... about the PC is that you -can- attach a controller if you wish. And the mouse is the best tool for playing RPGs, FPSs, RTSs. I think the mouse is the ace up the sleeve for the PC and is what is going to keep players on it. It's underrated.

I'm thinking... that new Conan game is going to be pretty good, with its innovative combat system. The whole idea of actually controlling the swings of a sword in an RPG is an idea whose time has come.

It's been a while since I've posted here as well, but a PC game I've been excited about was Crysis, which is absolutely killer. Why? Well, it brings any system (and I do mean any) to it's knees even with medium settings. Crysis is a continuation (or spinoff, whichever way you wish to go with it) of the original Far Cry. In layman's terms Crysis kicks absolute, and utter arse. Stick that in your pipe and smoke it. Look out for a review once I get around to actually finishing it.

What else have we got coming out on the PC? Because... I haven't really seen anything. Or for that matter, any really big games that are coming out besides GTA4 for the consoles. It seems like there is a little bit of a lull. But don't forget TOO HUMAN - "OMFG".

TOO HUMAN!
OMFG is absolutely right, and hopefully Silicon Knights will actually release the g*ddamn thing this time. We can only hope for 2008 to be a year for (greatness?)
Rather, a year of greatness.
Yes, that just sounds better.
As for the PC we've got Quake Wars: Enemy Territory, Unreal Tournament 3, Call of Duty 4, FEAR: Perseus Mandate, BioShock, and NFS: Pro Street. Just to name a few.

I heard Pro Street was crap - it lost its 'gritty feel'. EA probably didn't pay that reviewer's website enough in advertising bucks.

To be honest, I've played the demo on the 360 and I wasn't impressed at all. It lost that "fast and the furious" mentality, it was great running a muck and watching the local PD attempt to bag you. That was great (I'm specifically referring to NFS MW), Rockport was the sh1t, as was Most Wanted itself.
Pro Street feels too generic, and the reason behind it's transition from reckless street racing to organized circuit racing is weak; the reason behind the transition is to downplay an initial influence on illegal street racing...
Let's stop right there for a second, shall we?
Why do people always (and I do mean always) place the blame on a video game when some random dumb fsck decides he or she wants to be just like Dominic Torreto, this person goes out and supes up some ricer mobile and kills themselves? Did EA, or more explicitly the game itself tell you to go out and re-enact the events portrayed in the game?
No, I think not.
