Day one for me has come and gone, but my god did I have a smashing good time. Nothing but cars, cars, and more...cars. If there were a time where I'm extremely happy, that time would be now.
Let's begin with one of the first cars I saw, the Lamborghini Gallardo, followed by the Murcielago. Both of which look pretty sexy up close and personal. Both were in traditional Lamborghini yellow (pictures do no justice to how stunningly beautiful these exotics are) and for the most part, that alone made my day.
I also saw a couple of Spyker's, one of which I didn't recognize at all...probably because it was new and I don't keep up with Spyker, but nonetheless the C8 was there and I enjoyed it. Next up was Saleen, as in Steve Saleen (for those of you who don't know) there was a racing edition Mustang there, the S281 and the Saleen S7.
Oh, the Saleen S7 was quite a treat, an extravagant treat if you will. Afterwards I went about to purchase my ticket and proceed to the further automotive goodies.
...This was only the beginning of my day, I will post more as time goes and I will be attending the event at least once more before the 23rd, so I can get an up close look at the Concept X (Mitsubishi Evo. X).

To continue my day from memory, after I picked up my ticket I proceeded to the first floor (at least I think it was the first floor) I had the oppurtunity to get a look at the Mallet V8 Solstice, Porsche Carrera GT, Lamborghini Diablo, and a racing edition Corvette C5 (Z06), there was also another Murcielago and Gallardo in presence, but I already snapped a few of them so, I moved on back upstairs.
This is where the show really began (at least for me) first thing I saw was a Mustang GT convertible, which by the way was open-entry. Which means I had my cake and ate it, too. I got inside felt around a little and just fantasized. Afterwards, I made my way over to the Mustang coupe and I got inside of that as well, oh happy day.
Next up was a classic, a Ferrari-slayer if you will, the Ford GT which was in classic Le Mans paint scheme, Gulf paint scheme to be more exact. The car built as a contingency plan against Enzo's refusal to not lend Ford his name. The GT40 (as it's original 1969 namesake at the time) vanquished Ferrari, finishing in first, second, and third place. This wasn't open-entry as it was on a turn table, but nonetheless I still got plenty of pictures.
Next I laid my eyes on another classic, King Cobra, a Shelby Mustang GT-500, I saw this at last year's event so I didn't snap any pictures, but it was sure good to see it again.
...This was still only the beginning of my day, expect a full review (from my eyes) of the auto show soon.
