For those of you who haven't noticed, I am a hardcore racing gamer...or uh geek (yeah that's more like it). PGR 3 is the best looking racing game ever, bar none. Not to mention it has a taste of realism present. To Bizarre's credit it's placed quite well...there's enough balance between the arcade-style fun and the Forza-esque simulation standard there to please the best of the best.
For the most part there's nothing really different between PGR 2 and PGR 3, except the stunning graphics and the addition of the simulation feel. The addition of Gotham TV adds a certain "unending" interest factor when you use it, personally if you pwnd in any of the previous titles,PGR 3 doesn't change much in terms of starting anew.
Being that this was a launch title and it showcased the beauty of the 360's GPU...imagine how much "better" PGR 4 will be, or even to keep up with the times Forza Motorsport 2 - could we have another GT-slayer on the way?
Another thing one should note is that the "top" cars in PGR 3 ( Ferrari F50 GT, McLaren F1, Murcielago R-GT and a few others. ) utilize a little more than 100 polygons and concurrently there's plenty of room for more; without sacrificing anything at all. Imagine PGR 4 having an average of about 115 polygons per car, with if they should so chose to, again...the "top" cars having something to the effect of 130 polygons or maybe more.
