Nintendo has their coveted Gameboy, Sony has their mediocre PSP, why can't Microsoft join the handheld race? Picture a handheld by the name of XBox Portable or Pocket, XBP...which sounds like a file extension, but anyway....
This "XBox Portable" would be a further means of getting the most out of your XBox 360. It could serve as a wireless XBox Live extender, what do I mean by this? Picture this: You're on the road and you don't wanna risk bringing out your $299 or $399 XBox 360, what do you do if you wanna show what you're made of on Gotham TV in PGR 3?
I'll tell you, you turn on your XBP and you can access your Live account via Wi-Fi connection from your XBox 360. You could even download your XBox 360 games via a mini DVD-RW for the XBP.
Granted, this is more of a dream than a reality, but if it did happen...Microsoft would definitely get my money for it. o.o

I heard of that on a news site, so it actually is coming. It was said to be able to directly compete with the iPod as well. Which is rather strange. Bill Gates' way of sticking it to Steve Jobs. Most likely.
I don't know about all these features - all the mini DVD-RW and such, but a microsoft handleheld is coming, soon. And I think I might pick it up.

You're talking about the Origami and yes, I know a little about that. Don't think it'll be compatible with the XBox or XBox 360, so my dream still lies afoot.

That's a shame. I like how Sony at least has made things backwards compatible.
Nintendo has taken it to the next level with the compatibility of the Gamecube and the Gameboys.

Yeah. But who knows, maybe at the last minute Microsoft will dub a program they'll rightfully call an "XBox 360 Extender" before it launches sometime this year or next, either way Microsoft or at least Bill Gates has to realize the true market is with the handhelds and not consoles.
Consoles aren't on the go, and if they were who'd risk breaking a $250+ console?
