Meh. It'll never go away completely. The market for PC buyers is far too profitable to end any time within the next twenty-to-fifty years. However, quite a few of the biggest names in computers are pushing in that direction. Even Microsoft wants computers to go in that direction by 2020. Anything could happen, but I wouldn't count on it just yet.
