With the next-gen console wars underway with the newest adaptations in power, it's only bound to get better. With that said what would you like to see in a console? Be as specific and informative as possible. Include a name for your machine and how much you'd think it cost, it's okay to be creative y'know?

My dream console would be called the The Orgy, and it would be shaped like the Millennium Falcon. Its startup bios display would be the "Winners Don't Use Drugs" logo from classic arcade games. It would only play games that rocked. In the event some PC nerd tried to put a first person shooter, a real time strategy shooter, or an MMORPG in the console, the Orgy would immediately fire a rocket filled with chainsaws at him. On the other hand, if you put in a game that really rocked, like a Falcom or Treasure game, it would immediately send Natalie Portman over your house to give you a blowjob.

What... the... fsck? Natalie Portman sucks, and not in the good way you're hoping.
My dream console is one where it allows you to live your imagination. Your dreams. Your visions and desires. One that essentially gives you your own little pocket universe to play in. That would be awesome. Michio Kaku says we're a good 75+ years before that's even possible, technologically. He's Asian, so he knows what he's talking about, but he's not much of a futurist.
Then again, Arthur C. Clarke wrote that the popular computer by now would be an eyepatch we wear that displays the screen, causing "split-brain schizophrenia," in his novel Ghost of the Grand Banks.
What were we talking about? Ah, yes. Imagination. The ideal console would allow us to live our imaginations.

My dream console is something everyone would want - a system where comparison has no place. This "dream" console is the best of the best, utlizing technologies currently unheard of. A system in which has the potential to be constantly upgraded for the better benefit; instead of spending more money on an entirely new platform.
Er...I might have said too much, but, that would be my vision of a dream console...and imagination fits that perfectly.

DUDE - if it involves an eye-patch you KNOW I'm IN.
And isn't the point of games to live your imagination, or at least accentuate it and make it fun?
Come to think of it, some people shouldn't be able to live their imaginations. Hah.
